These Terms govern your use of all products and services provided by The Stoic Edge, including the Telegram bot, member dashboard, analysis reports, and any related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("the Member" or "User") and The Stoic Edge ("we," "us," or "the Company"). We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Amendments take effect immediately upon publication. Your continued use of the Service following any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

2. Nature and Scope of the Service

The Stoic Edge is a behavioural analytics and pattern recognition platform. The Service analyses historical trade data submitted by the user and generates output including but not limited to: behavioural profiling reports, strategy audit reports, dimension scores, behavioral grades, action plans, improvement simulations, trading rulebooks, performance projections, flag analyses, and dashboard visualisations (collectively, "Output").

The Service is strictly educational and informational in nature. Nothing contained in the Service, or in any Output produced by the Service, constitutes or should be construed as:

Financial advice, investment advice, or regulated financial guidance of any kind
A recommendation, suggestion, or instruction to buy, sell, hold, or otherwise deal in any financial instrument, security, currency, commodity, or derivative
A trading signal, alert, or system of any kind
An endorsement, validation, or approval of any trading strategy, methodology, or approach
A guarantee or projection of future trading performance or profitability
Professional advice of any kind, whether financial, legal, tax, or otherwise

The Stoic Edge is not authorised, licensed, or regulated by any financial regulatory authority in any jurisdiction. The Service is provided solely to assist traders in identifying patterns in their own historical trading behaviour for self-improvement and educational purposes.

3. Eligibility and Registration

To access the Service, you must: (a) be at least 18 years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if higher; (b) have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts; and (c) not be prohibited from accessing the Service under applicable law. By registering and using the Service, you represent and warrant that all of the foregoing conditions are satisfied.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account. We accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your failure to keep your credentials secure.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Without limitation, you agree not to:

Submit data that you do not have the legal right to submit or that infringes any third-party rights
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise extract the source code or underlying methodologies of the Service
Reproduce, distribute, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any Output without our express written consent
Use the Service to mislead, deceive, or defraud any person, including misrepresenting Output to third parties
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, security, or performance of the Service
Circumvent any access controls or security measures implemented by us
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Service without prior written consent

5. Subscription, Payment, and Cancellation

Access to certain features of the Service requires a paid membership subscription. Subscription fees are charged in advance on a recurring monthly basis at the rate specified at the time of purchase. All fees are stated exclusive of any applicable taxes, which shall be your sole responsibility.

All subscription fees are non-refundable, except where expressly required by applicable consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction. Upon cancellation of your subscription, your access to paid features will continue until the end of the current paid billing period, after which access will be revoked. We do not provide partial refunds for unused portions of a subscription period.

We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing at any time upon reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service following a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property comprised in the Service, including but not limited to the behavioural profiling engine, strategy audit system, scoring methodologies, dimension frameworks, report templates, algorithms, software, platform design, branding, and written content, is and shall remain the exclusive intellectual property of The Stoic Edge. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

You retain full ownership of all trade data you submit to the Service. By submitting data, you grant The Stoic Edge a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process and analyse that data solely for the purpose of generating your Output. We do not claim ownership of your data and will not use it for any purpose beyond the provision of the Service, except in anonymised and aggregated form for platform improvement.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant that: (a) the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure; (b) any Output will be accurate, complete, or reliable; or (c) defects will be corrected.

The accuracy of all Output is entirely dependent on the accuracy and completeness of the data you submit. We accept no responsibility for Output generated from inaccurate, incomplete, or falsified data.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Stoic Edge and its directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service or reliance on any Output, including but not limited to:

Trading losses, loss of profits, or loss of revenue of any kind
Loss of data or corruption of data
Loss of business, goodwill, or anticipated savings
Any damages resulting from interruption or unavailability of the Service

You acknowledge and accept that all trading and investment decisions are made solely at your own risk and that The Stoic Edge bears no responsibility whatsoever for the outcome of any trade, investment, or financial decision.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Stoic Edge and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of or access to the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) any data you submit to the Service; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including but not limited to: violation of these Terms; conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties; or non-payment of subscription fees. Upon termination, all licences granted to you shall cease immediately.

You may terminate your subscription at any time through your account settings. Termination does not entitle you to any refund of subscription fees already paid.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation in the first instance. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

12. General Provisions

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and The Stoic Edge with respect to the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. These Terms are personal to you and may not be assigned without our prior written consent.

This data is processed solely to generate your behavioural analysis Output.

Telegram Information: If you choose to link your Telegram account to the dashboard, we collect and store your Telegram numeric user ID. This enables us to associate bot-generated analyses with your dashboard account.

Analysis Output: The results generated from your submitted trade data — including scores, grades, dimension analyses, flags, action plans, and audit results — are stored to power your member dashboard and enable historical tracking.

Usage Data: We collect technical information about your use of the Service including upload timestamps, analysis counts, and session information necessary for account management and service improvement.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled exclusively by Stripe. We do not collect, store, or process your payment card details. Stripe's handling of your payment information is governed by Stripe's own Privacy Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect exclusively for the following purposes:

To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
To generate your behavioural and strategy analysis Output
To display your progress and analysis history on the member dashboard
To manage your account, subscription, and billing
To respond to your support enquiries and communications
To improve the analytical accuracy of our models using anonymised, aggregated data only
To comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information or trade data to any third party for commercial or marketing purposes. Your trade data is yours and will never be used for any purpose other than generating your analysis.

We process your personal information on the following legal bases: (a) Contract performance — processing necessary to deliver the Service you have subscribed to; (b) Legitimate interests — processing necessary for the improvement and security of the Service, provided such interests are not overridden by your rights; and (c) Legal obligation — processing necessary to comply with applicable law.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers: We use Stripe for payment processing and Neon for database hosting. These providers process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements and are prohibited from using your data for their own purposes
Legal requirements: We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental authority
Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to equivalent privacy protections

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encrypted database storage, secure API communications, and access controls. However, no method of data transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. By using the Service, you acknowledge this inherent risk.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information and analysis data for as long as your membership account remains active. Following account closure or subscription cancellation, we retain your data for a period of 90 days to allow for account recovery, after which it is permanently deleted from our systems, unless we are required to retain it for a longer period by applicable law.

You may request early deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations that may require us to retain certain records.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

The Stoic Edge member dashboard uses browser localStorage solely to maintain your authenticated session between visits. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics services on our platform. No data is shared with advertising networks or social media platforms through the dashboard.

8. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the following rights with respect to your personal information:

Right of access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Right to rectification: You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
Right to erasure: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements

The Stoic Edge is a behavioural analytics and educational platform. It analyses historical trade data to identify patterns in a trader's own past behaviour. It does not predict future market movements, guarantee future trading results, or advise on any specific trade, position, or financial decision. All Output is produced for educational and self-awareness purposes only.

2. High Risk of Trading Losses

Trading financial instruments — including but not limited to foreign exchange (forex), contracts for difference (CFDs), futures, equities, options, commodities, and cryptocurrencies — involves a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors or traders. All trading and investment decisions are made solely and exclusively by you. The Stoic Edge bears no responsibility, liability, or accountability whatsoever for any trading losses, missed opportunities, loss of capital, financial harm, or any other outcome — whether direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise — arising from your use of or reliance on the Service or any Output produced by it.
